Either way, I just don't see how this team has the quality to compete with that Barcelona team.
Individual by individual, I would give Barcelona an edge but not a major one. The biggest advantage Barca has at this point is how well they play together.

You can add Ribery to that list now since apparently he's the next person to be joining them. (Well he wants to join them anyway). Real Mardrid should really be more of a threat next season with a team like that. It'll take a lil while for all of the players to gel together but after 1/2 season they really should be tearing shit up in Europe. As for right now though Barca are still the team to beat in Spain. They have great players & all of those great players have gelled together & work perfectly with one another.

If they go in for Arbeloa then theres a 99% chance that they will get him from us since i doubt were gonna hold on to him. As for Alonso i don't think he wants to leave us & Liverpool don't want to sell him now anyway. Last season they may of considered selling him to Madrid & then probably using that money to get Barry but not this year.

I've heard rumours of Arbeloa going as part of a swap deal for Negredo.
On SkySportsNews there was talk of Real just going for Silva instead if they can't get Ribery without paying way over the odds for him. Personally I'd take Silva over Ribery anyway, but I'd prefer it if Real stayed away from Silva. Don't want the innocent lad corrupted by such scum now, do we?
