I'm gunna be fully behind Barcelona next season. I think I'll help pay the wages of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and co., by buying a Barcelona shirt.
It's not the players who will come under the biggest scrutiny. It's the manager. As has already been said, can he handle the egos? Can he implement a formation and squad system that will keep everyone happy?
With Barca coming off the back of a treble winning season, the Real fans will demand nothing but the same. Although I do think they will be measured by how many European Cups they win.
I don't think there are many managers in the world who could cope with that many egos, plus deliver a winning team. I really don't envy his job.
Also, I refuse to call Real a super team until they sign a world class centre half.
Well they have signed Albiol who could become a very good defender, but it remains to be seen how he will progress. He definitely has the potential though.
I certainly don't envy his job either. Real Madrid has to be the worst team to manage.

Too individualistic usually equals overall failure when it's about the team. That's precisely what Real Madrid have turned into. Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema, Robben, Higuain - all capable of altering the course of, or even winning a game by themselves, but unless they managed to successfully gel as a team and work efficiently, they'll fall short.
Of course it will also depend on how Barcelona go about defending their treble, but i'm quite confident that we can still beat in the space of 90 minutes and over the course of the season.
BTW, i'm saying right now, Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona, Champions League Final. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Metzelders actually better than Cannavaro, but overall, not that great. If Arbeloa signs for them, expect
Ramos - Pepe - Albiol - Arbeloa
He'll have to revert back to LB - which he's capable of doing. Marcelo and Heinze are also there too. Ramos will also probably play some games at CB due to that dickhead Pepe still been suspended, so then it will probs be
(assume they get arbeloa)
Arbeloa - Ramos - Albiol - Marcelo
Since Ronaldo and such are there now, Marcelo will end up back at LB instead of the winger role he played for much of 08/09
