Care to elaborate on how spending will "catch up" with clubs and just like Blatter you seem to look straight past Real and towards the Premier League?
oh christ aye i can see Real being in big trouble down the road i don't actually think they deal in money more IOUs and numbers written on napkins.

Just from my own experience with Rangers we spent big bucks in the late 80's to round about 2001 to try and win the champions league and become the best team in Britain, we managed to do the second bit in the early 90's and done nine-in-a-row so yeah money well spent i suppose, but it has caught up with us now we've got a huge debt every one our players are up for sale and we will be lucky if we make one signing this year.

I'm just saying watch out.

Obviously in your Rangers supporting opinion you did the second bit.

The game is a lot different now compared to back then, with the ammount of constant money being pumped into clubs it's not going to catch up.

Oh without a doubt I can see it coming back to bite some clubs on their arses. One day I can see a big club going bust, and they'll only have themselves to blame.

Reals bank loans have been made after they went to the bank and showed them their forecast of how much merchandise and TV deals they can get because of their signings. Now believe me, when forecasting, it almost never goes exactly the way you expect.

We where in 93 we beat the champions of England 4-2 on agg 2-1 home and away and 90 mins away from the Champions league final.

In the early 90's we had both the England captain and No.1 playing for us, we where the richest club at the time aswell we where the best in Britain.

Re: Rich Premier League worries Fifa

Last season we beat the Champions of England home and away, apparently that didn't make us the best team in Britain.

Re: Rich Premier League worries Fifa

You have heard my thoughts on the SPL before, in my eyes it rivals the Championship and isn't even on par with the Premier League, so winning your league is irrelevant to the equation in my eyes.

As for not arguing with you, you said you beat the champions of England home and away, well in comparison so did we, how is that not acknowledging what you said?

i did not say we where the best team in Britain in 2009 i said early 90's where Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee utd, Hearts, Motherwell all challanged for the league and the Scottish league was a very good league unfortunalty the last 5 where up against the best team in Britain.

To your second point you need to give bad points about the Rangers team of the time so you can discredit my veiw so the fact that Liverpool beat United home and away last year is irrelevant.
