Re: Is soccer the sport of fakers?

The red card ones are the worst yeah, like what Nani did last season when a guy barely touched him and he fell to the ground. That should get like a 10 game ban as its clearly cheating a fellow professional. Again though, its not a lack of toughness, just a lack of honestly and class.

Re: Is soccer the sport of fakers?

Wait, so AFL players get called wusses, but you see them playing with punctured lungs, broken noses, broken jaws, etc. Same with the NRL players over here. But they're called wussy sports compared to the "hard man's game" of NFL and that kind of shit. Sorry to take it off topic, but I cannot stand to see people stick up for soccer as a hard game and then call our sports over here "soft".

Re: Is soccer the sport of fakers?

I have never said AFL is soft because again it is a very physical game with no helmets, I just think the sport as a whole is shit.

Again dont get what you're saying. Are you speaking english here?
Fo people so tough, American athletes sure can't control their emotions well.

Quote:
Please, dont compare soccer players with hockey players. Hockey players play with broken bones, concussions and all of them have lost their teeth.
It's also a higher impact sport. It stands to reason that they'll suffer more and serious injuries.

Football isn't supposed to be a full contact sport.

Quote:
Its fine, I know that, but it will never crack North America because soccer players act like girls...and that has been my point all along.
Football will never crack American because anybody who's career isn't on the slide or who's poor will play there.

It's the same reason lower league football is failing here. People aren't half as intrested in shit football as they are good, that stands to reason.

Never bring up soccer being a hard game over here though. You'll get ripped to shreds.

I think its funny that some people value toughness over skill in sport.

Re: Is soccer the sport of fakers?

Ok guys, the bottom line is, no one acts like a girl in Hocky, American Football, Baseball or Basketball (and yes there's always that one or 2 that does, but the vast majority doesnt).

In soccer they cry and moan when they get fouled and that soccer stretcher has more mileage than all the cars in the world combined.

Either they are fakers or they are bit**es, either way it's wrong.

And toughness doesnt make a sport great, but those actions make it really hard to watch...and yes Im a soccer fan, but the truth is the truth.

Soccer has way too many flaws, changes are needed and the only reason its popular all over the world, its because its the sport of the poor...all you need is a ball to play it, unlike American Football, Hockey, Tennis, Golf etc.

That kinda of crying I dont mind actually lol...thats a "you are blind ref, how did you miss that call, I will kill you" kind of crying.

The crying I hate is the "you barely touched me, now Im in pain and I feel like I'm gonna die...bring the strecher" kind of crying.
