This is a discussion on Confederations Cup Thread within the European Sports forums, part of the Sports Forums category; Hopefully Fifa will make those horns available only for South Africa games. I think that's a pretty good compromise....

Disappointing loss. U.S. got far too complacent. I'm not knocking Brazil, they certainly deserve a lot of credit for turning around the momentum in the second half, but we made a lot of strategic mistakes and it cost us. Pissed me off. Still, good showing in the tourney.
Goddammit. i really thought we we're going to get this one...but Bradley and co need to learn that if they play aggressive and attacking, and keep the pressure on....they have the abilitiy to throw the worlds giants off their games and earn victories.
But...we are NOT good enough to just lay off the pressure and focus on defense. It allowed Brazil to dictate tempo, and get back into the game. We did the same vs Spain, but we were able to hold off their attacks. This time..not so lucky. I think Bradley waited a bit to long to make subs, but my opinion of him has turned around after watching this squad play the past 3 games.
But congratulations to Brazil, they had all the heart and pulled off the deserved win. Theres alot of pride to be had by the US mens team after this tourney. And hats off to Dempsey. Obviously he wanted this very badly by his tearfull reactions.
