Well...not that we were mentioned in this thread, but the US got smoked by the Costa Ricans in CR. But we're up against Honduras tomorrow night.
I gotta be honest, im not the biggest fan of how the US plays. They're just boring to watch....and it seems we cant win on the road. I know we'll qualify and everything, but Id like to watch a US team thats enjoyable.
Supposedly Bradley is going to make changes before Saturdays game...hopefully we look a bit more alive.
I'm quite confident that under Capello, we can finally beat a minnow by 6 goals or so. Capello won't take no shit, and he'll drum into them that goals matter.
Grind out a result tomorrow, and go crazy on Wednesday.

I have the same feeling. In recent years England have been happy with a 2-0 win over the minnows. I fully expect a 6 goal victory over Andora next Wednesday.
Well what is wrong with running riot on both, Borat's homeland isn't exactly a good team. We could get a comfortable 3-4 goal win over both, only thing is that I see the majority of goals coming from midfield rather than up front due to the weak look of our forwards.

They should get a 3-0 win, but considering most of the side have not played for 2 weeks, you'd allow a bit of rustyness in front of goal.
A young Wales side play Azerbaijan in Baku later today. I think I'm going to be watching from behind the sofa!! This could be a humiliating defeat. 2-0 to Azerbaijan is my prediction.
England return from the arduous 7,000-mile round trip to Kazakhstan a step closer to World Cup qualification - but only after surviving a close encounter with embarrassment in Almaty.
Fabio Capello's record on the road to South Africa remains flawless with six successive victories after this journey to Europe's eastern extremity and a meeting with one of the genuine minnows of the world game.
The gulf in these contrasting football cultures was not immediately apparent, however, as England suffered the ignominy of almost going behind to Kazakhstan before exerting their authority and claiming the expected victory.
John Terry saved England from going a goal down virtually straight from the kick-off with a brave block on Sergey Ostapenko before the striker saw a header ruled out for offside with the scoresheet still blank.
England eventually overpowered the resilient Kazakhs with two goals in six minutes before half-time, with Gareth Barry celebrating his £12m move from Aston Villa to Manchester City by heading in Steven Gerrard's cross.
