Depends on the club I reckon.

I think at present, the Champions League would be a bigger honour to Manchester United as we haven't won as many, there isn't much in it for me I guess. But Liverpool haven't won a title for so long, so it'd be a higher regard for them.

The point is though, Coyle will never be managing a Champions League side with Burnley, but will be with Celtic. He'll be winning trophies instead of trying to avoid relegation. Celtic's definitely the bigger job.

Apparently he's not intereseted in it anyways though?

If they get Sven that will be a good signing as a manager, they should keep on Paul Hart and Brian Kidd in some because they did a very good job in keeping Pompey up.

More news today is that there has been quite some activity in the betting markets for Roberto Mancini and has now gone upto 10/1 as reported on Sky Sports News.


He'd certainly be a big name to come here.

The former Inter Milan boss was linked with the role at Sunderland last week as they search for a new manager.

Mancini revealed to Sky Sports News earlier this weekend he was flattered to be linked with the Sunderland job.

But now the former Leicester forward says he has been offered the chance to succeed Ricky Sbragia at the Stadium of Light

Wigan boss Steve Bruce remains firm favourite to take over at Sunderland with Latics chairman Dave Whelan confirming he has given The Black Cats permission to talk to Bruce.

Whelan has imposed a deadline of Sunday for Sunderland to agree a compensation package of £3million for Bruce as he looks for a decision to be made either way.
