He may never get the chance to manage a Premier League team again either.

When it comes to winning the Champions League or winning the Premier League, the Premier League ranks higher so I'm guessing managing in the Premier League ranks higher.

Laughable.

I want Bilic obviously top class manager, I reckon we will get Mogga. I work with Coyle's mum and sister and his mum has told him not to take it because it would cause their family too much trouble

Also, I think it just shows why the world loves when the English lose when you guys are so far up yourselves that you make comments like the one Dmac made and the fact that you would rather scrap relegation in premiership with Sunderland than play champions league football and win trophies (whether you think they are big trophies or not).

Marshall, I don't think any tim was hugely disappointed when WGS left he wasn't exactly our favourite son. 3 in a row or not.

I'm guessing that is why Coyle is close to signing a new contract.

It isn't laughable in the slightest.

Al-Fahim is close to sealing his takeover at Fratton Park and he is believed to be keen to install Eriksson as the club's new boss.

Paul Hart has been in caretaker charge of Portsmouth since the departure of Tony Adams and he helped guide the club to safety in the Premier League.

No decision has been made on Hart's future, but Al-Fahim is believed to be looking to lure Eriksson to the South Coast.
Well they can hand him a huge offer now they have money so I imagine he will take it if they offer it to him.

re: Managerial Merry Go Round Thread

How is making a comment like Premier League is better than Champions League even justifiable? It's laughable. Your 1 team league was demolished on Wednesday night for 80 mins, so to turn round and say it is better that the champions league is not even worth comprehending as an opinion.

Owen Coyle: It has nothing to do with Champions league football it is to do with he has just had a major achievement and he wants to carry it through. His family don't want him to do it either which is probably another major factor. More stressful job, he is already a Burnley legend he can do no wrong now as far as their concerned. Lots of factors that could sway it in the other favour.
