Wigan have decided not to extend Egyptian striker Amr Zaki's loan spell.
Zaki, 26, joined Wigan in July 2008 on a year loan from Egyptian side Zamalek and enjoyed a dream start netting 10 goals in first 16 league starts.
But the goals dried up - Zaki has not scored in 2009 - and he has played his last game for Wigan as injury rules him out of the final match of the season.
"We haven't taken up the loan agreement or the option to pursue Amr," said Wigan boss Steve Bruce.
He clearly has talent and potential but he fucked himself over because now I don't see any big team wanting to pick him up.
