Sky Sports News understands Hull City have agreed a £6million fee for Manchester United youngster Fraizer Campbell.

However, the Tigers are expected to face competition from fellow Premier League sides Sunderland, Stoke City and Fulham.
The 21-year-old spent seven months on loan at the KC Stadium in October 2007, where his 15 goals helped Phil Brown's men achieve promotion to the top flight.
Despite his successful loan stint, the England Under 21 international rejected the chance to join the Tigers on a permanent deal last summer, opting instead to go on loan to Tottenham as part of the deal which saw Dimitar Berbatov move to Old Trafford.
But chances were few and far between at Spurs, with manager Harry Redknapp handing the striker just one Premier League start.
The Red Devils ace still proved he could cut it at the highest level when he fired a brace to knock Liverpool out of the Carling Cup at White Hart Lane back in November.
Campbell's only other strike for Spurs came in the following game where he scored a consolation against Fulham.
"It'll be tight as I know Stevie Bruce, Tony Pulis and Roy Hodgson are admirers," Phil Brown told the Sunday Mirror.
That is a very good offer imo. I'd take it in a second. He is a good player but I don't think he has a future at the club with other young strikers like Wellbeck and Macheda coming through, Berbatov and Rooney at the club and a replacement for Tevez likely to be signed. Also the young Serbian Ljajic is coming in Jan.

Laporta added that club officials would be meeting the player's agent this week to discuss his future.
The European champions have been linked with a bid for Inter Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Eto'o possibly moving the other way as part of the deal.
Eto'o - currently on international duty - scored 30 league goals last season.
Laporta added that the treble winners are planning to sign three or four top players to strengthen the squad for next season.
"We anticipate signing three or four high-level names to occupy the positions that the technical staff think need reinforcing," Laporta said on Barcelona's website.
Interesting. He's a top class striker and if they swapped him for Zlatan, that'd be a pretty dumb move imo.

I don't think it would be that bad of a move. Et'o has done pretty damn good this season for them though. I can't really see the deal going through though.

Manchester United have accepted a bid from Hull City for England Under-21 striker Fraizer Campbell.

Hull have been given permission to discuss personal terms with Campbell after agreeing a reported £6m fee.
Campbell, 21, scored 15 goals to help Phil Brown's to promotion in 2008 during a successful loan spell at the KC Stadium during the 2007/08 season.
He spent last season on loan at Tottenham as part of the deal that took Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford.
Brown was keen to sign Campbell after Hull were promoted but missed out when the player joined Spurs.
Campbell, who has seven Under-21 caps, started just one Premier League game during his time in north London and only made one brief appearance in the final three months of the campaign.
A number of clubs have reportedly shown an interest in signing him this summer.
Not surprising, but there is confirmation. Looks like he will be a Hull player now. Good deal for all parties involved.

The agent of Napoli's Ezequiel Lavezzi has claimed Liverpool have made a concrete bid for the Argentine striker.
Lavezzi, who has made no secret of his desire to quit the Serie A outfit, has also courted attention from Manchester City.
He wrote an open letter to fans last week complaining that the club had shown him a lack of respect.
Now agent Eduardo Rossetto has claimed that a move to Anfield is a real possibility, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: "There is a definite proposal from Liverpool.
"The one thing I can say, that so far I have kept confidential, is that (Napoli general manager Pierpaolo) Marino met twice with the Fifa agent Pablo Cosentino, who invited him to set a meeting in either Liverpool or Naples with the British club."
Asked if the meeting had taken place, Rossetto said: "No. And we do not want to compel Napoli to sell the player.
"But I think it is appropriate that the club consider the offer: to judge that it is either sufficient or insufficient."
Well if I remember right, Dragon seemed to be high on him so we'll see.

Ajax defender Thomas Vermaelen has claimed he is poised to complete a move to Arsenal.
With Gunner boss Arsene Wenger admitting he needs to strengthen his defence over the summer, the Belgium international has been tipped as a likely target.
And a switch to Emirates Stadium could be completed before the end of the week, with the 23-year old confirming further discussions are due to take place.
Reports suggest a fee of around £11million has been agreed for Vermaelen, who can operate in the centre of defence or at left-back.
