Okay so the football season is pretty much over now.

Other than rabid transfer rumours, actual transfers and even managerial appointments. What keeps you until the season starts back up again?

Is there another sport that you turn to in footballs absence for example?

NFL, basically.

I don't follow it as much as the premiership, because I only watch the Vikings (My state team). It's a fun sport to watch though.

Well I am basically a bigger fan of rugby league than I am of football, it's just that no one else is here so I never get to discuss it at any time. The Super League season starts like 3 quarters through the football season so I have both for a while but when football finished I still have RL.

Nothing really. I enjoy watching Wimbledon when that's on. Other than that I'm just reading all the transfer news and waiting for the new season. Probably the worst thing about the summer.

Obviously this only happens every other Summer because half of the time its either the European Championships or the World Cup.

Like Dmac, football isn't my #1 sport, Rugby Union is, but since their season runs in parallel with the football it's the same off-season, with a lot less transfer activity. The summer tours will keep me interested for a while, but other than that Unions' off season is VERY quiet.

In the summer though, I do like to follow Major League Baseball. Now that Match of the Day will be coming to an end, I will most likely watch a lot more of the Saturday & Sunday afternoon games on MLB.com
