Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner believes he has the potential to become one of the best players in the world.

The Denmark international, 21, has struggled for consistency during his time at Arsenal, but he says he is not worried about the criticism as he feels he is constantly improving.

He told Onside: "There will always be some people that doubt. There will always be shared opinions.

"I know that I can be one of the best in the world.

"I will only have to continue to believe, keep both feet on the ground and focus on getting better.

"I have no doubt that this will happen, so that's why I take it easy."
