A sensational second-half fightback against Tottenham helped Manchester United leap-frog Liverpool at the top of the Premier League on Saturday.
Darren Bent crashed in Vedran Corluka's cross and Luka Modric converted Aaron Lennon's floater as Spurs dominated.
Ronaldo pulled one back from the spot after Michael Carrick was brought down by Heurelho Gomes, and Wayne Rooney equalised from the edge of the box.
A Ronaldo header and strikes by Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov secured the win.
Liverpool maintained their title hopes with a win at relegation-threatened Hull who finished the game with 10 men.
Xabi Alonso powered in a thunderous strike after his initial free-kick was blocked to put the visitors ahead.
On the hour, Caleb Folan was sent-off for kicking out at Martin Skrtel, whose mis-timed shot was headed in by Dirk Kuyt to make it 2-0.
Geovanni slotted in to revive Hull's hopes of a draw but Kuyt hit his second when Alvaro Arbeloa's shot fell to him.
Chelsea kept their slim title hopes alive with victory at West Ham.
West Bromwich Albion secured a vital victory to keep their slim hopes of Premier League survival alive - and leave a desperately disappointing Sunderland still fearing for their top-flight future.
Substitute Erik Nevland kept Fulham on course for their best top-flight finish with the winner against a hard-working but one-dimensional Stoke.

Bolton edged closer to Premier League survival after coming from behind to deny Aston Villa a first win in 12 matches in a hard-fought game.
I hope that Howard Webb is proud of himself and I hope that United are proud of how they have secured the league is all I can say.

Everyone gets luck sometimes. If you mean to say Liverpool haven't got luck sometime this year, that's just silly. I'm sure they've had some fortunate refereeing decisions plenty of times.

Okay olaberate on how we were fortunate please, go.
*elaborate
And are you being serious?
Firstly, it clearly wasn't a free kick. Mascherano stubbed his foot in the ground and was already on his way down when Boating made contact with him. That's not a free kick by the rules of the game.
And secondly, obviously the guy should have been sent off for being an idiot (almost Pepe-esque, only not nearly as bad clearly), but that clearly was a penalty.
And as everyone was so happy to point out, that was a turning point in that game.
Everyone can see things from their own point Dan.
As for that "offside" goal of United's, that's pretty up for debate. MOTD guy said himself it was onside. First one obviously wasn't a penalty though, so I'll give you that.
