A Liverpool player's career at Anfield looks over after claims he behaved offensively during the Hillsborough memorial service on Wednesday.

Charles Itandje, the club's reserve goalkeeper, was reportedly caught by television cameras laughing and fooling around during the service to mark the 20th anniversary of the deaths of 96 Liverpool supporters at Hillsborough, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Outraged supporters have complained about Itandje’s behaviour on internet message boards and the club are understood to be livid with the 26-year-old after studying footage of the incident, with a view to taking disciplinary action.
Rafael Benitez is said to be disgusted by the goalkeeper's behaviour, which has been described as "wholly unacceptable" and club officials are reported to be exploring the maximum punishment they can impose on the player. He is unlikely to play for the club again.
Supporters claim Itandje was seen laughing and joking and simulating dance moves during the “Tragedy” song sung at the service. The rest of the Liverpool squad conducted themselves impeccably, as did members of the youth and reserve teams who were also present.
Itandje joined Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer of 2007. The former Lens player has only featured in seven first-team games since then with his last appearance coming in last season’s FA Cup defeat by Barnsley.

I think you are mistaking this as an anti-Liverpool thread. I'm not saying ''haha look, Liverpool have to release a player'', I'm saying ''what a twat this guy is''.

Well what does it matter either way, he isn't an important player and was going to be sold even before this, we have a better number two than Itanje with Diego Cavalieri.
