Injured Adebayor to play for Togo
If he comes back with his injury any worse than when he left i want a shit load of compensation from Togo for playing an injured player.

Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to play for Togo in this weekend's World Cup qualifier against Cameroon, despite concerns over his fitness.

The striker, 25, who has been out for six weeks with a hamstring injury, was not due to return to club action until after the international break.

But Togo coach Jean Thissen said: "Ade is here to play against Cameroon.

"He is the main man for the national team. He is my captain, the nation can count on him."

Thissen added: "He has always given his best for the country so he will be a boost to the squad. he is a wonderful player."

Adebayor was injured during Arsenal's goalless draw against Tottenham last month and was initially expected to be out for three weeks.

Saturday's tie is Togo's opening Group A game in the final round of qualifiers for the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.

He hasn't been too impressive when he's featured though. Obviously he's better than Bendtner but my first choice where possible would be Van Persie and Eduardo.

Even more off-topic: lol @ Bendtner saying he should play ''every minute of every game''. He's average.

Every minute of the reseves maybe. I know he is still young but he is just so unreliable. I'm thinking it wouldnt be a bad idea if Aliadiere was to return like the papers are suggesting. Even if just to get Bendtner out of the team.

Adebayor has seemingly taken van Persie's role this season. Hardly ever getting a proper run of games.

Aliadiere isn't good enough.

I think Bendtner is good enough as a squad player, but he seems to have an attitude problem. If he wants to play every game, he should go to a smaller club, because he is certainly not good enough to play every game for a Champions League team.

Aliadiere wasent a great goal scorer but i always thought he was a good link up player. I havent seen much of him this season so he may have changed since i used to watch him regulary.
