I personally think they will never add video replay and the reason is, it's easier to corrupt games this way.
Even when the refs are not bought out (rarely I think), they make too many mistakes and usually against small teams. In Italy Inter Milan seems to get every call and if it wasnt for the refs help, they wouldnt even be first this year.
Last year they basically robbed the Title from Roma.
In Champions League I have noticed that the English teams get the majority of calls. Usually the biggest teams get the calls and right now the EPL Teams are the biggest.
Its time we get with technology and use video replays. NFL uses it and they are by far the best sport. It would make soccer so much better.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
Well a lot of people hold the opinion that refs ruin games with bad decisions, I agree sometimes, sometimes I don't but I definitely think they should be allowed to consult a video referee.
In Rugby League we do have a video ref but that is only for try's when they are in doubt, not general on the pitch decisions.

My suggestion would be three challenges for each manager per match, limited to goals, dissalowed goals, penalties and the like. Not every single tackle that goes the other way. Like in Rugby use a fourth or even a fifth official to have a look at the replay a couple of times and then make a decision. We see replays instantly, why cant the officials?

Well in rugby league we sometimes have up to 5 refs and around the field one behind each goal, one on each side of the field like linesmen and the ref on the pitch, THEN we have the video ref.

I don't know, there are advantages and disadvantages to it, like there is with everything. You have the issue of stopping the flow of the game for a ruling on the replay, but you also could prevent a team from getting wrongfully relegated and or losing a huge game that could benefit a team in many ways. I'm torn on the idea, I would like to see something done, maybe not video replay, but what else can you really do? Usually the game is stopped anyway when the ref makes a call, so it would help loads in that aspect, just don't know about the ball over the goal line type of thing, because obviously the field is still active.
As long as Sepp Blatter is the president of Fifa, it's not happening, he wants to keep the game as pure as can be...he basically says he refuses to choose technology over "old school" ways of doing things. Which is really a shame because everything in the soccer world is at a stand still with him sitting on the throne. And yes, I know it's not all 100% up to him, but he has huge influence of what goes and what doesn't.
