Arsenal's signing of Andrey Arshavin is set to be discussed at a meeting of Premier League clubs on Thursday.
Arshavin only officially completed his move to Emirates Stadium from Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday evening, almost 24 hours after Monday's 5pm transfer deadline.
The Premier League had stated on Monday that due to the inclement weather conditions they would allow the paperwork for some deals to be processed after the deadline, provided proof of an agreement could be provided.
The Gunners are currently outside the top four of the Premier League and Arshavin's signing is seen as crucial to their hopes of securing UEFA Champions League football next season.

I'm glad it's not just me questioning this tbh.

Well i was watching this all unfold and i think they are fine as what the FA said was as long as there was a deal agreed in principal before the deadline then the deal would be fine.
So on that they've probably gotten away with it.

I think there will be more investigating then just that Mikk, but if they get away with that then it's the FA's fault for not being specific enough on the window extension.

On Deadline day only one person from the FA actually made it into work because of the snowfall. I think thats why it took so long to be confirmed. All the paperwork etc was submitted before the deadline, it just didnt get confirmed until after it.

I still think the Tevez affair was one of the most unjust things I've ever seen in football.
Oh, his goals are the reason they might stay up... lets not deduct points though, a fine will suffice. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
