Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has won his appeal against the red card he received in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Liverpool and will not serve any ban.

Lampard was dismissed in the second half for a challenge on Xabi Alonso.

Team-mate Jose Bosingwa will not face any action for stamping on the back of Yossi Benayoun in the same match.

The Portuguese was not punished at the time and because the assistant referee admitted seeing it, the Football Association cannot review the incident.

Late in the game Bosingwa appeared to lunge one-footed into Benayoun's back but the incident went unpunished by referee Mike Riley.
Well we knew he would so not really news but hey...
