West Ham United defender Calum Davenport has signed for Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.
Black Cats boss Ricky Sbragia has been keen to bolster his backline, and Davenport's arrival follows the capture of Tal Ben Haim from Manchester City on Sunday.
Former Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Davenport passed a medical and agreed personal terms at the Stadium of Light on transfer deadline day.
The centre-back, who joins former Hammers, Anton Ferdinand and George McCartney at the Stadium of Light, made his last appearance for West Ham in the 4-1 victory at Portsmouth on Boxing Day.
Prob only a loan because it was d-day, it will end up being permanant.

Problem is now we have too many defenders, going to be difficult keeping everyone happy whilst giving everyone enough playing time.
