Chelsea have signed Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Quaresma was strongly linked with Tottenham earlier on transfer deadline day, but Chelsea have moved in to lure the Portuguese winger to Stamford Bridge.
The former Porto star will help fill the void by the absence of Joe Cole to serious injury.
Quaresma has endured a difficult time at Inter since his arrival from Porto last summer and the Italians are willing to loan him out after leaving him out of their squad for the resumption of the UEFA Champions League.
The signing of Quaresma is Chelsea's only arrival during the transfer window and they are believed to have the option of making it permanent if he impresses during his time at Stamford Bridge.
It's no secret Chelsea needed a wide player, fantastic signing even if only on loan.

He was horrible this year. Dont get me wrong I still think he is a fantastic player, but he is just not suited for Serie A. The English league will suit him better as he is fast and the EPL is a wider, more offensive game.
