Everton have confirmed the capture of Manchester City striker Jo on loan until the end of the season.
The Brazilian joined City in a big-money move from CSKA Moscow last summer but he has endured a difficult debut campaign in the Premier League.
He has fallen further down the pecking order following the arrival of Craig Bellamy from West Ham and Mark Hughes has allowed him to head to Goodison Park.
Officials from the two clubs met in Manchester on Saturday night to discuss the details of the transfer.
What a fantastic signing he was for City...

Its about time Everton got a good striker, they could essentially win the league (not now obviously) due to their amazing defence, they just need a striker, because they always find themselves drawing with big clubs where they could actually win if they had the attack.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
They have a cracking defense and they out play most of the top 4, I mean, they wont win this league, but maybe in a few years,.
They just need strikers, Tim Cahill is going all the work up there.

They won't win the league in the foreseeable future.
This could be a good signing. Not much of a gamble on loan, but yeah he was bad for City. There is a good chance he could recapture some form at Everton.
