It says Celtic are NOT looking to offload the centre back lol
I wouldn't mind if he went he ain't that great Caldwell is better, the only thing I would miss is his share of goals from defence. Caldwell is more of a captain on the pitch anyway as is Brown, Hartley and Boruc.
Yes... yes it does. Cut me some slack I was up for the Rumble last night until 4am, then was at college all day until 4pm... I will not have any sleep until 4am tonight/tommorow morning. Okay back on track...
Now I really don't mean to offend but even Newcastle is of a higher stage than Celtic because of the Premier League football, now you can argue that Celtic get Champions League and Newcastle don't but damn how easy is it in that league. A few years ago I was all for Rangers and Celtic coming over to play in the big leagues but it never happened.

Celtic are a bigger club than Newcastle without doubt, were a bigger club than I would say 16/17 other clubs in that league but at the end of the day. Not saying better I'm saying Bigger,(8) If you know your history....
Derby County worst team in premiership history received 30 million last year for coming last with a dismal amount of points in TV revenue alone, Celtic received 2 million for finishing as Champions... so for us to compete AND win in the champions league with the resources available to us is a minor miracle yet the only team that has come to Parkhead on a European night and had a better record against us is Barcelona. At the end of the day we will never be able to compete with you in a financial level but the heart and backing of the team from the fans carries us through.
As for the premiership, I was at an audience with Alex Ferguson a year ago or so and he hit the nail on the head, The only appeal the Premiership would have in bringing the Old firm is the huge away support they bring and that isn't possible as there is a 3000 limit I think it is so with nothing to gain from it, Old Firm will never be in the premier league. Although Swansea and Cardiff are given a chance which makes it look like one rule for them and another for our teams.
I don't beleive that really, they both have good teams, which is why everyone keeps showing interest in their players, but I would see them getting UEFA cup at most.

Well we have a bigger fanbase than 19 of them and if it wasn't for the glory hunting of Man Utd fans it would be 20, Our merchandise the first year we went to Nike was Nike's best seller including clubs such as Barcelona, Man Utd and Arsenal. 100,000 fans travelled to Seville for the Uefa cup final, 80,000 of them didn't have a ticket. First team to bring the European cup back to British shores. Again If you know your history...
We get the same tv revenue as you do...we would be contenders after 4-5 years in the premiership
