Manchester United have toped the Forbe's Top 10 Most Valuable Sports teams. They are one of only three Soccer teams to make the final cut. Real Madrid and Arsenal being the other two. The other seven are all based in America.

Man Utd (EPL): $1.8bn
Dallas Cowboys (NFL): $1.6bn
Washington Redskins (NFL): $1.5bn
New England Patriots (NFL): $1.32bn
New York Yankees (MLB): $1.3bn
Real Madrid (La Liga): $1.29bn
Arsenal (EPL): $1.2bn
New York Giants (NFL): $1.18bn
New York Jets (NFL): $1.17bn
Houston Texans (NFL): $1.17bn

Before anyone complains, it is based on how much the club is likely to cost if you were to buy it tomorrow. Potential future earnings are taken into account but current debt is not.

I'm a little suprised to see Arsenal up there. If you said to me there would be 3 football teams, i'd have gone with United, Real and Barca.

As for thwe others, they are all teams/franchises that i'd expect to be up there. Maybe swap the Texans for the Red Sox though.
