Hull City have agreed a fee with Fulham for midfielder Jimmy Bullard, Sky Sports News understands.
The Tigers are believed to have lodged an offer of £5million for Bullard, who has found himself part of Fabio Capello's England squad over the past season.
However, Fulham are not keen to offer Bullard fresh terms as he has 18-months remaining on his current deal.
A number of clubs have been alerted to Bullard's situation and earlier this month Bolton failed with a bid.
Tottenham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland have also been strongly linked, but now Phil Brown has made his move and he will be looking to seal a quick deal.
It remains to be seen if The Tigers can persuade the 30-year-old former Wigan star to move to The KC Stadium.
Hull can pay wages that Fulham can't?

It's not that they can't afford it Flashback, it's that he has 18 months left on his current contract and for reasons unknown the club are unwilling to offer him new terms, they probably thought he would just back down.

Considering he is probably Fulhams best player his wage demands must be too big for the club or they would strive to keep him, which is what I mean by can't afford him.
