Marlon King is undergoing a medical at Middlesbrough, skysports.com understands.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week Middlesbrough have lined up a loan move for Wigan striker King in a possible swap deal with Mido.
King has been on loan at Hull City this season, but it appears they have cut short his loan stay following a bust-up with Tigers boss Phil Brown.
The news has alerted Middlesbrough who are now hoping to bring King to the Riverside on loan until the end of the season.
A swap deal involving Egyptian striker Mido going the other way has been mooted, but the King deal is not thought to be dependent on Mido making the switch to the JJB Stadium.
Lol that is so harsh on Hull tbf.

Is he good enough? I've not seen too much of him in the Prem. I know he was shit hot for Watford in the Championship but unfortunately for them he was out for pretty much the whole season when they got promoted.
Why is Mido going? I thought he was good now. He had a great start to the season anyway.

lol that would be pretty cool having two Egyptians up front. They need to sign Ghaly, who I was sure had left Spurs until a few weeks ago when I saw him come on. Might have been against Wigan, actually.
I just posted some other Wigan transfer news.
