I was thinking, usually with movie series, the first movie is the best one that everybody considers a classic, and they get worse from there. Obviously this is not always the case, but as a general rule, it works. Sequels are often pretty bad, so what is the worst movie sequel you can think of after the first movie was good?
One that springs to mind for me is Robocop. The first one was a classic movie which was violent, edgy and hugely entertaining, but the second one is fucking awful. Nothing happens for much of the film, one of the enemies is a little kid, and it basically seems pretty watered down and sucky compared to the first.
Any others?

SAW 4. Haven't seen 5 yet, but I hear that's pretty ordinary too.
Transporter 2 was pretty bleh as well.
Come on, Saw 4 as the worst sequel ever? It reeks of mediocrity, but it's far from the worse.
As for my picks, Exorcist 2 pops in my head quickly. You went from one of the greatest horror films ever to one of the most boring. Thank-god they improved with the third one.

Final Destination 3 is another terrible one. I found the first two highly enjoyable, fun thrillers, but the third one just felt like they wanted to churn out 1 more despite them having no new ideas for it. Even the deaths were terrible compared to the other two, when they were quite innovative and intriguing.
Just compare the original disasters:
Final Destination 1: Plane Crash
Final Destination 2: Freeway pileup
Final Destination 3: Rollercoaster accident. >_>
