Extra is reporting that Rosie O’Donnell is expected to fill Meredith Vieira’s seat on the morning talk show. This should make things very interesting considering Rosie was just bashing Star Jones. I wonder if they will sit next to each other?

“Extra†has learned exclusively that Rosie O’Donnell will be named the newest co-host of “The View,†replacing the exiting Meredith Vieira.
ABC is expected to make the official announcement Friday, April 28.
The short list of other candidates reportedly included Connie Chung, Patricia Heaton and Soledad O’Brien.
This will be Rosie’s big return since her Emmy winning morning talk show ended in 2002. I wonder how different she will be since she probably can’t throw any koosh balls into the audience with Barbara Walters sitting by her side.
I don't know why but she annoys me to no end.

Well.. Looks like business just picked up a bit.. I like Rosie for one reason and that's because if she has a problem she'll say it. Live on tv, whatever.. So this is good for the show. I hate Star Jones. She has basically no talent at all.. Mrs. Hasselbeck is a sweety though..
I never watch The View anyway, but here is another good exuse never to.

Sometimes I like Rosie and sometimes I hate her. Either way it won't matter since I don't watch The View.

Its on at the same time as the Ellen Degeneres show here in Boston (11am)
I personally really like the Ellen show. Its easily the best thing on at that hour and I actually put it right on at 11am every morning even if my wife isnt watching.
The View is a show I have only watched to look at Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She is about as cute as they come.
On a side note, Star Jones looks like fish with those oversized eyes. I really dont like her at all. I bet ratings would go up for that show if she was the one that was being replaced.
I watch The People's Court while those shows are on. I don't like either one of them.
