Lately I've been getting more into Rap and I'm not really sure what music I should listen to, now I've listend to and haven't enjoyed music by like 50 cent.
However guys like Nas I love, I heard Sly Fox on the colbert report and just loved it, also I love Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West, so I'm kinda wondering if I can get some suggestions to what I should DL in regards to "good" rap.

Listen to The Cool Kids imo. They are pretty good.
Rakim is the shit.
Atmosphere is pretty ftw.
Talib Kwali is really good tbh.
And even though you won't like this shiz, put on some mainstream stuff. Not to lyrical but good.
Lil Wayne. Controversial, you like him or you don't. Now, he's a freestylist so he won't be spittin shit like Nas and Lupe.
Soulja boy is pretty fun to listen too. But I think that's only for black people.
Haha I do like mainstream stuff because I just turned 18 and over here that's the age where you can drink and go to clubs, and clubs obviously play alot of mainstream stuff so if I want to dance I gotta listen to it.
This is just more for my personal enjoyment when I'm at home chilin'.
But thanks I'll check it out.

If skills sold
truth be told
I'd probably be
lyrically, Talib Kweli
Truthfully, I want to rhyme like Common Sense
But I did 5 mil, truthfully I ain't been rhyming like Common since
I dumbed down my lyrics
to double my dollars
