Basic Instinct 2 Expected to Bomb
Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction premiered last night, and if the howling laughter was any indication, Sharon Stone will go back under her rock soon. According to Page Six spies, the premiere wasn't the smashing success that Stone had in mind.

"At the premiere Monday night, audience members kept cracking up at inappropriate times, like when Stone intones, "Not even Oedipus saw his mother coming!" "The only thing worse than the dialogue were Sharon's implants," shrieked one wag. During the full-frontal nude scene, Stone's bosom seemed lopsided."

It's no secret that the release of this film was delayed due to litigation because Sharon Stone basically wanted to make this movie a porn. While the filmmakers were cutting out reels of nudity and an orgy scene just to get an R rating, Stone was busy complaining she was performing her "duties" as an artist. I'd feel bad making fun of her if she was just an idiot, but she constantly rambles on about subjects in which she is sadly misinformed, and she truly believes she is blazing a trail for women's rights every time she flashes her boobies for the camera. Her entire career has been her standing on a soapbox with her legs spread while some guy points a flashlight at her vagina.

I don't know if it'll bomb or not, I guess it depends on how much money went into making this.

It seems like a lot of people will see it just to see her nude and see how bad it actually is. Finanically I think it will do all right.

Plus people who were a fan of the first film,might go to see it, just to see how terrible it is. I know I see sequels if I liked the first one, no matter how bad they look.

It looks like Joe was right about this. It opened at number 10 or something. Ouch. That's very, very bad for opening week with such a movie like this which had a ton of promotion.

I thought it would have a good start and then just fade off. I guess not. hahahah

I suppose some people want to see a film just because of tits, but hell if I want to see a film just for that that I'll watch a porno. People who go to see this probably loved "Showgirls"

Why see it? It will be torture for you i'm sure. I have heard it's as bad as we all expected it to be.

A friend of mine said the first time they show Sharon Stone nude on camera everyone in the theater was laughing because the dialouge was so bad.

Well they were definitely wrong about that, it's got a couple of sex scenes and a blink and you'll miss it shot of woman crossing her legs with no knickers on. That would be one lame ass porno. Instead it was just one lame ass movie
