Just as rocker Ozzy Osbourne made a name for himself in reality TV with a show chronicling his family life, wrestling star Hulk Hogan is cultivating a new fan base with Hogan Knows Best, which returns for a second season Sunday on VH1 (10 p.m. ET/PT).

"The first season was pretty intense," says Hogan of the show, which was the highest-rated series premiere in VH1 history with 2.7 million viewers. "But the second season will blow this thing up."

He says viewers will get to see his daughter, Brooke, who will soon turn 18, continue with her music career, having just signed with a record label in Miami. His son, Nick, 15, is getting heavily into race car driving. His wife, Linda, helps keep Hogan, who tries Botox, on track. Filming, which started in September, ended last week for the 12 new episodes.

As for being known as an overprotective dad, Hogan says, "I think it's better to be overprotective than underprotective. In today's environment with drugs and crime, you've got to be hands-on."

The wrestler says he's "trying to find another way to generate revenue other than just getting kicked in the head." He's about to give boxing great George Foreman some business competition: Hulk Hogan's Ultimate Grill will launch in about "45 days," he says.

And Hogan plans to attend World Wrestling Entertainment's next big pay-per-view, WrestleMania 22 on April 2 in Chicago. He isn't slated to wrestle. But, he says, "Anything's possible. I wasn't supposed to be in the last Wrestlemania and I wound up in the ring."
