Sure enough, Nelson confirmed with MTV’s Splash Page that he is committed to two sequels, and he hopes he’ll have the chance to play the megalomaniacal villain Sterns becomes in the Hulk mythos, the Leader.

Coincidentally, Nelson is currently working on Edward Norton’s next picture, Leaves of Grass, and the actor says they have talked about several things Hulk, but whether Norton will return to the franchise is beyond him. “Well, I’m signed on to do Hulk 2 and 3 whether Edward’s there or not, so it’s not even up to me. When I agreed to do Hulk, I signed off for two sequels, so it’s a moot question. I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel — but that’s up to Marvel and Edward.”

I really liked The Incredible Hulk, but I just don’t think the big guy has a strong enough of a fanbase to keep going like this. First the dismal Ang Lee picture, then the lukewarm reception to this flick. At this rate, it won’t take a super genius to stop the Hulk, although it would be fun to see Nelson’s Leader try.

Ed Norton has a very bad taste in mouth from the first one, I doubt he'd continue on with this series...

It's too bad about Ed Norton. I really enjoyed him in the rebooted Hulk movie, and would love to see him back for 2 and 3. Looking forward to them going with the Leader. He was always an interesting villian.

I will definitely be there to see these movies, as I am a Marvel junkie.

I dont think its a case of Norton getting shown enough money to come back. His ideas and editing after being brought in to help rewrite the script basicly got no sold by marvel, even tho he was promised alot of involvment with the story.

Thats marvels problem with the comic book films, dont get me wrong, they know how to tell a story in comic books, but story arcs last near a year in comic land, we have 1.5hrs-2hrs to tell a large story and marvel always want to hotshot alot of it.

Look at Spiderman 3, Marvel basicly made Sam Rami bring in Venom, whom he has no love for, and what did we get 25mins of "HAHA PETER IM AWSOME *dies*"?
