I don't think Family Guy has been very funny since coming back from its long hiatus, to be honest. I've never actually seen Arrested Development actually, probably one of the few. It seemed like very wacky comedy - kinda like "Always Sunny in Philly".

Most of those who have watch Family Guy should obviously know that. They still have their moment but it's not as smart or clever and ludicrous, than it was before the show was canceled. The reason the show's being kept on the air is ratings and it's not going to go away if they're on a terrible rating streak.
