Why is it so hard for Brits to comprehend that this list was compiled by an American entertainment company, and that it was only referring to American sitcoms?
I don't think anyone is actually suggesting that Murphy Brown was funnier than Monty Python.

AOL is an international company to be fair, if they do not want to express our opinions on their polls then they should not be selling their product here.
They called the list "50 Best TV Comedies Ever", right? That, to me, sounds like on the planet. I'm pretty sure I would acknowledge American comedies if I were to ever make a list. [/rant]
