There have been alot of rumblings lately about a prequel to the Blair Witch Project.
That's right ladies and gentlemen, The legacy of one of the greatest contemporary hoaxes in cinema may not be dead just yet.

According to Wikipedia there maybe 2 more sequels in the works.
Also (this is uncited) a production company has apparently given a greenlight to what is tentatively going to be called The Beginning: Blair Witch 3.

Interesting indeed.....

Grain of salt indeed.

I think they should leave it alone anyways, second one was rubbish and pretty much tarnished the work of the first one, as so many sequels do. So what good would this one really do?

The last news of this movie was 2004. In which they had a script, and gave it to lionsgate.

It's almost 5 years later, so I guess they passed haha..

Well. Let's give it a month or two.
Then we'll know what's what.

There are alot of iffy sequels right now, such as Cloverfield 2, X-men 4....

Anyway, there was some light chatter on IMDB also.
