In the 1978 original, Eastwood played a fist-fighting drifter who befriends an orangutan he wins in a bet. This is one of the first movies my Dad made me watch as a kid. Not sure how I feel about it being re-made but it should be funny if they come up with a good script. "Right turn Clyde!!"  | |

Rep Power: 6 | I'm always wary about movies being re-made since often the thing that made the original movies great was the chemistry between the stars. I hope they do a good job with this. |

Rep Power: 97 | This could be good, however I felt before this movie that he should start avoiding doing any more re-makes or sequels. It doesn't lend a lot of credibility to his acting career, however he probably is only seeing the dollar signs!! | |

Rep Power: 6 | The Rock hasn't exactly had a great acting career so far(his movies seem to be hit or miss), so maybe he figures this will be a sure thing. I have a feeling that it will get low ratings from critics, critics tend to not really enjoy re-makes of movies. |
