Internet Men Find Alba Most Desirable

This just in -- Internet users of the male persuasion think that Jessica Alba isn't bad to look at.

According to a scientific survey conducted by the good folks at AskMen.com, the "Into the Blue" star ranks at the pinnacle of site's Top 99 Most Desirable Women list for 2006.

Who, pray tell, made this decision? Apparently more than 2.5 million votes were cast between the site's editors and readers. That major criteria is that women in question be "alluring." Apparently the survey asked users to vote on the woman they would most want a relationship with, would consider marrying or thought best-suited to be the mother of their children, whatever that means.

I'm not sure how people could vote on who they think would be best in a relationship setting.. How the hell would they know?

Sounds to me like it was just based on looks and I can't complain with that. It's hard to find a celeb who I find more attractive then Alba.

That's what i'm saying dude. It's a weird way to pick who you find most desirable.

Knowing just the facts about celebs these contests are most always based on looks.

Well, looks and popularity basically. I remember when Halle Berry was winning all these polls and magazine awards. Are you telling me that Halle is all of a sudden a bitch, or that she's lost her looks? No, of course not.... Alba is the "it" girl now and I'm not sure how that happend. She's always been just as hot as she is now but for some reason everyone is noticing it more.. I dunno.

It really boils down to two things...

Who the media is pushing non stop and who men will wag their tounges over.

Alba was everywhere last year in beach photos and candid shots, not to mention movies.

I think guys like the fact that she's dating a "loser" also.. I don't mean to put the guy down but he's not exactly Brad Pitt in popularity or even that good looking for that matter.

Men probably think "Hey if he can get with her, why can't I?"
