Does it feel like a while since we got a flashback with Charlie, the rock-star who can’t get laid? That’s because the last Charlie-flashback show was “Homecoming†(the copier-salesman episode), broadcast Feb. 9, 2005.
Tonight’s Charlie-centric episode, “Fire+Water,†will maybe want to make us think Charlie is back on the horse. But I’m thinking maybe he really isn’t, because maybe ABC probably doesn’t love the idea of having a non-recovering drug-fiend among the regular characters.
Meanwhile, will we see Michael or Walt this week? Will we learn that Walt’s snippy kidnappers are actually gruff-but-benevolent, and determined to protect young Walt from the other survivors of 815??
Will Sayid join Charlie in sulkytown when he learns Jack asked Ana-Lucia to train Jack’s army?
The next “Lost†after tonight’s, airing in two weeks, is Sawyer-centric, but apparently puts Locke at odds with Jack, Kate or Ana.
I like when Locke’s at odds.
Here’s how the episodes seem to shake out so far this season:
2.1 Jack
2.2 Michael
2.3 Locke
2.4 Hurley
2.5 Sun & Jin
2.6 Shannon
2.7 The Tailies
2.8 Ana-Lucia
2.9 Kate
2.10 Eko
2.11 Jack
2.12 Charlie
2.13 Sawyer
2.14 Sayid
2.15 Claire
