Brown is not a magician and not a fortune teller, he is a psycologist with an amazing understanding of the human mind and how to manipulate it. His tricks revolve around leading his volunteers into what he creates as the inevitable, around reading body language and by hypnotising through the use of subliminal messgaing. Previous stunts have involved playing Russian Roulette on live television (and living of course), subconsciously hypnotising a group os people into commiting armed robery and finding a "system" for predicting the winner of horse races. The one thing that totally blew my mind from his Something Wickied This way Comes show was a trick that saw him walk barefoot over broken glass. The trick has been faked many times, but he had volunteers from the audience to check the authenticity of the glass and his feet. The trick involved him covering his head in a plastic bag, restricts the blood flow to his brain which causes two effects: It makes him temporarily incapable of bleeding and it stops him from feeling pain. Once he had used the ag to slow his pulse rate down to where he was in some lucid-dream style state he not only walked over the broken glass, but also layed face first in the glass and had a volunteer stand on his head. If youtube wasn't being gay for me at the moment, I'd post some videos. I highly recommend searching him on youtube or some other site, his work defies belief. |

If you've not seen it, I really don't think you're in any position to mock Killsteve over this. It is a very impressive trick, which I honestly believe it is, and personally I ranked it as my least favourite part of the show. His progams such as Trick or Treat are phenomenal, and far more entertaining than someone like David Blaine.

Secondly, the man does it without these magic "bandages" you know that stop you from bleeding when walking across glass. Anyways, as for Brown himself. I don't find his work nearly as interesting as someone such as Blaine's street magic. However, yes his shows are very good and well worth recommending.

But I do agree, he is excellent at what he does. The best one I saw was when he convinced someone that they were in a video game. He approached them when they were playing a shoot em up in an arcade and hypnotised them. Then moved them to a warehouse which had been done up to be a replica of the game he was playing. He then woke up and found himself in the game. There were people just walking around but he was convinced they were zombies and out toget him. After a couple of minutes he put him back to sleep, took him back to the arcade and woke him up. This man then told anyone who'd listen how good the game was, and that it was the most lifelike hed ever played. It was funny.
