Iron Man's Powers:

Formerly none, but after being critically injured during a battle with the Extremis-enhanced Mallen, Stark injected his nervous system with a modified techno-organic virus to save his own life. This fused Stark's armor to his body, allowing him to store the inner layers of the Iron Man armor in the hollows of his bones as well as control it through direct brain impulses. He is also able to remotely connect to external communications systems such as satellites, cellular phones, and computers throughout the world. Because the armor's operating system is now directly connected to Stark's nervous system, its response time has been significantly improved. The Extremis armor grants him superspeed reactions and a healing factor able to regrow whole organs. He was able to stop Crimson Dynamo's heart and restart it.

Green Lantern's Powers:

Green Lantern is armed with a ring the abilities of which are limited only by his imagination and will power. Chiefly, the ring is used for antigravity, to unleash torrents of energy, to translate alien dialects and to create hard-light replicas of any shape. Though it has in the past been unable to affect yellow-colored objects this impurity has since been overridden by Hal's will. The ring must be periodically charged by contact with a Power Battery, which, in turn, draws energy from the Guardians' Central Power Battery on the planet Oa.

I don't think we should be governing ourselves. What we need is a king, and every now and then if the king's not doing a good job, we kill him.

This was a tough one for me. I like both. I went with Iron Man though, I enjoy his story so much more. It would be sweet to have the green lantern ring though...

Yeah, I have a feeling that Iron Man might win this because of the recent success of his movie coming out. But really, Green Lantern is a much more interesting character.

Iron Man was a secondary character in the Marvel Universe during the heydays. I'm actually surprised they decided to come out with a movie of him before a new Cap. America, or Thor.. but either way, they did.

Well for me I didnt vote for Iron Man because im still hyped up over the movie. I just think he has a much better story then The Green Lantern. Also im a much bigger Marvel fan then DC. I really started to get into Iron Man when I started to read the Civil War books.

Looking at the results of these polls, it looks like we have bigger Marvel fans than DC fans. Oh well..either way. I kinda figured that, so that's why I came up with Heroes vs. Villians too, because I wanted to see who everyone would match up in the end.

ya, but you never know. I think it is Marvel > DC but then again there are some heros and villians in the DC world I will take over some Marvel guys. So im excitd to see what happens.

iron man comics nowadays are boring as hell cuz they make him look like a huge duechebag but i think he was a popular pick on marvel ultimate alliance and his animated movie sold like crazy so thus the new blockbuster movie

Jay.. Iron Man has been pretty big in comics over the last few years.. so that's probably a reason why.

I like him and loved the film, but I'm voting for Green Lantern. Too cool.
