Over the next few weeks, I will be conducting a tournament (using the poll function) to determine who is the ultimate Superhero and Supervillian.
The contest will pit Heroes and Villians battling against eachother from the Marvel and DC comic universes. So, you will be seeing 8 one-on-one matchups between Hereos and 8 more matchups for Villians, each from a different universe. The first round matchups are on their way.
The final matchup will pit who you chose as the Ultimate Marvel/DC Superhero going against the Ultimate Marvel/DC Villian to award the winner as the Supreme Being in the Comic Book Universe!
How do you vote? Well, the first round matchups I have chosen have been selected as such to be "dream" matches, meaning they are as closely matched up between different universes as I could determine. Beginning in the second round, I will rearrange the winners from Round 1 to determine the (most fair) matchups for Round 2, and so on and so forth.
Simply vote for your favorite. You may base your vote on any or all of the following criteria:
- Who is more popular in their respective universe
- Who would legitametely win in a one-on-one matchup in your opinion
- Who is "cooler"
- Who you like more
Friendly discussion in each matchup thread is encouraged. Discuss why you chose the hero or villian you did to win the matchup. I will leave each matchup available for 5 days, and will be posting new matches every day or so. Let's get all the comic fans involved!! Have fun.
