I think I'd prefer it if it wasn't such a straight line down the face, but it is cool. Although it is setting Mars Attacks! flashbacks off in my mind!

Judging from the trailer the reason for this, I would guess, is that when he's burned in the movie it looks like someone is holding his head to a desk and with acid on it as in contrast to the comic where the acid was just tossed at his face.

I am guessing Joker is the one who attacks him in the movie.

My guess is he'll be the main villain in the third film, they will probably only introduce him here. Either way, looks pretty sweet.

the scarecrow is at the beginning of the film, then it goes into the joker and then sets up two face for part 3.

i kinda think they should of saved joker for last cuz u cant compete with that but then again if they did that heath may or may not of died still and we wouldnt see his spectacular performance.

Harvey will be introduced here as Bruce's main rival and eventual best friend and basically tell the story of how that relationship is destroyed along with Harvey's sanity creating Two-Face at the end...setting up the third film as others have said.

I do not know whether Joker lives or dies in this film...I do know that Chris Nolan said hes only doing three films and that Joker will not be back after this one. Someone brought it up if they were going to recast Heath's role and he made the comment along the lines of it wasn't something they considered after this film as he won't be touching Joker again.

I have heard rumors that Riddler will pop up in this one briefly and become a main player in the third film as a Two-Face puppet....totally different to what the relationship between the two characters was in Batman Forever

Christopher Nolan said he wasnt gonna make the mistake of killing off the batman characters so if anything the joker just simply gets away at the end of the 2nd one or my guess is he gets put in the insane asylum.
