Snow Patrol star Tom Simpson will face a drugs charge in court later this month, it has emerged.
Mr Simpson and his friend Colin Kennedy, both 35, are alleged to have been in possession of cocaine in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street.
The keyboard player was excused attendance during a short hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He nearly missed his band's T in the Park performance after he was arrested for failing to appear in court.
A warrant had been issued earlier this year after he failed to turn up for a previous court date.
Mr Simpson, of Thistle Street, Kirkintilloch, was eventually arrested in London last weekend and faced missing the band's performance before eventually being freed from police custody.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sheriff Sean Murphy QC continued the case without a plea being entered.
Mr Simpson and Mr Kennedy, of the city's Bentick Street, Kelvingrove, were ordained to appear on 31 July.
The offence is alleged to have occurred on 24 June last year
