THE Volver actress allegedly had a panic attack on a plane, delaying the flight by almost two hours. Cruz was on a Continental flight travelling from Newark to Barcelona when she "freaked out and refused to fly", a passenger told the Huffington Post. Cruz is said to have told cabin crew she needed to get off the plane and instructed staff to remove her luggage, which caused the lengthy hold-up.

However, the 33-year-old actress' representative has denied she had a panic attack, insisting she got off after being informed the flight was going to be delayed.
