Just to let you know (and others that read) there was a vote programme thingy (sorry to be technical) in the UK last night that was about The Greatest Sitcom.

Seinfeld was 3rd, but there was some interesting choices. One of the top 20 shows (ever) was The Phil Silvers Show which apparently wasn't so popular Stateside but was a hit Worldwide (I've no idea if that's true or not)

At your age Mr K I'm not surprised, I think it was around the time (maybe just after) Lucille Ball so what's that....early 60's.

I know these things are repeated but you may have to ask your parents since it wasn't apparently a big hit Stateside.

If you've ever seen the cartoon "Top Cat" (probably not!!) this is actually based on the characters in The Phil Silvers Show.
