Seemingly on the Warner Bros. fast-track just months ago, George Miller's adaptation of the DC Comics' franchise "Justice League" has been scrapped.

Rumored to be attached to "Justice League" were Adam Brody as The Flash, Armie Hammer as Batman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman and Common as Green Lantern.

Warner Bros. had hoped to have "Justice League" ready for release in the summer of 2009. As of now, Variety says that production won't be able to begin until late summer or fall at the very earliest.

Word is the script was crap and they could not get any of the famous players to play in the movie (ie. Bale as Batman, etc)

IMO, it's better off being shelved.
