So Spider-Man fans, what is your take on this? Will it generate new buzz as intended or just hurt the comic in the long run?
I don't read the comics but it seems like a bad move to me.

It basically makes years of comics worthless as he went years with being married to Mary Jane and the experiences are now all different because Mephisto wiped the event out.
It may make the story good in the long run but they should of just had them divorce and not wipe out many year of continuity.
Stuff like this makes me glad I quit collecting and reading comics when I got married.
