Yay, I'm done and all caught up, so I can now officially take your questions and will provide answers on what is actually going on.
Actually, I won't, since I'm likely just as clueless as many of you are already illustrating you to be! But isn't this the fun of the series? Serioulsy, this is the most awesome but completely and utterly frustrating programme ever. Just as you think you are getting somewhere about, well just about anything, the goalposts move and it's suddenly apparent you didn't know what you thought all along.
I can't believe I'm so pleased about a programme that is so god damn annoying. What an addiction!
And Jay, yes. Lostpedia, I've finally had a chance to go on and this is excellent stuff. Just going into the "oustanding questions" about each character reminds you how much you need to know still about everyone and the "theories" section is terrific. Just reading everybody bouncing their theories in (and then being systematically shot down by even bigger geeks) is greatness.
I realize Jack sort of implied that, but just because a drugged-out Jack says it, doesn't mean Sun believes it.
She wants to help Widmore. They have "common interests". When Widmore asks why she wants to help him, she says "Remember, we're not the only ones who got off that island".
Who else got off the island? Ben, Desmond, and Frank. Sun has no reason to go after Desmond, and neither of them has a reason to go after Frank. That leaves Ben as the only logical person, especially since he is the one who actually IS responsible for Jin's death.
Plus, remember how they said Locke went and visited all of them? Locke could have told Sun what happened in the orchid station (Ben killing Keamy, causing the freighter to explode)
I think Jack implying that Sun blames him was more of the writers throwing us a red herring. Trying to keep us guessing, or keep us from realizing that she wants to go after Ben
Also, on a different subject, I was thinking about Jack's appendicitis, and how it didnt seem to fit into the rest of the show. Then, it came to me. Remember how Rose said "People dont get sick on this island, they get better"?
Jack's appendix bursting was the island's way of trying to prevent him from leaving. He was "supposed" to stay, so the island made him sick to try to keep him on the island. The island made Locke walk again because it wanted him to stay. The island cured rose of her cancer, because it wants her to stay. The island made Jin fertile, because it wanted Jin and Sun to stay. I understand there's the problem with pregnant women dying or whatever, but it still fits with the theme of people's illnesses being cured. Kate and Sawyer are supposed to stay because they have legal troubles waiting for them in the "real world". Basically, the island gives every character a reason to stay on the island. And, if a person is determined enough to get off, the island can try to get that person to stay. Thus, the island made Jack sick, hoping that the appendicitis would be enough to keep him on the island

Just wanted to give my Lost buddies their "fix" of the greatest show. This is from Comic-Con, the national comic book convention they hold in San Diego.

Writer-producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof said Friday that they know exactly how the ABC series will end.
"We have 34 hours left for you guys to see — seasons five and six," Lindelof told the Comic-Con crowd. "We owe answers. We know the answers that we owe. The questions have to begin to diminish."
"We know where we're going and we know how long we have left to tell the story," Cuse added. "There's also an organic process that goes on."
They compared the process to a road trip, which can often include alternate routes and unexpected stops.
The showrunners said they will continue to supplement their storytelling with Webisodes, mobisodes (on mobile devices) and games.
"We're doing it primarily for the die-hard fans of the show," Lindelof said.
They offered no spoilers at Entertainment Weekly's panel dedicated to visionary TV producers. But they did reveal they'd like to see the return of Mr. Eko.
"Mr. Eko was a character we really loved," Cuse said of the role played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Turns out the British actor didn't like living and working on an island.
"Hawaii was not his bag," Cuse continued. "Real life intervened and forced us to end the arc of that character much sooner than we would have liked."
No word on whether Mr. Eko will come back when "Lost" returns this fall.
