Alice in Chains were one of the iconic grunge bands ever, and there back together and are sounding as good as ever. After the death of legendary lead singer Layne, the band vowed never to do a live show again, until they played a gig for charity, and there new singer worked out, and the officially reformed.
The classic album 'Dirt' is a must own of music, without it, your collection really is uncomplete, a classic through all different people of the music genre. With so many great songs, it really was a musical masterpeice.
It was a shame that they were really hidden by the sucess of Nirvana, Until Kurt had his overdose, they came out, and grabbed the opportunity to shine, and ran with it, until the fateful day that Layne had his overdose on heroin.
Heroin has claimed some of musics true men, and it is a pity. I have to say, although it has nohting to do with this, never accept heroin, just look of the people you idolise, dead.
AIC were music greats, Relive them now and Download the album 'Dirt' it'll do you a lot of good.
There were never really rock legends, but these are one of those very special group.
