The ending left things open as a story that maybe never ends. Bobby takes one. Christopher takes one. But the whole time people were wishing Pauley was the one that bit the bullet. I was a bit suprised as to HOW it ended but I guess it was rather fitting. I was annoyed at how the killed off Christophers character. He was so important to the show and many people thought the star of the show at times. Then to just take him out in a car accident was like........damn. What were your thoughts on the Sopranos this year? | |

At least I have one more to look forward to before having my coniption fit. As for my overall thoughts for this year, it's been a letdown really. I actually canceled HBO (the only reason I had it was to watch the Sopranos) because I was so unimpressed with the past season or two. In my opinion, to much time is spent in Dr. Melphi's office, and now not only is it Tony, but AJ too. Then the whole Dr. Melphi struggle with her own shrink / colleagues. Sure there are looks into their minds / thoughts when they jump to these parts but I find it boring and a waste of time. If there was one time I really cared to see the outcome of, was when Melphi got raped, and what Tony might do to the guy. Some of the focus this season on AJ, and how he attempted to become his fathers image in his friends eyes, thus taking it's toll on him... that was interesting until recent when he became the sniveling sissy he is (Yeah, I know mentally he is fucked, but he really is a bitch) Last nights episode was good, now that I know it wasn't the finale. I just hope they wrap up some of the plot lines from the past, although it will be hard in 45-60 minute. | |
