Why oh why do I watch this??
Are there any programmes that you regularly watch on TV that you (ever so slightly) embarassed that you watch and are somewhat a fan of?
I think mine is probably "That 70's Show". I love that show and, despite the fact that I am fully aware that now I am up to Season 5 in the viewing....it has truly jumped the shark and is not getting any better.......I still watch....I have no shame!!
Sitcoms seem to be particularly good at sucking me in to watch them....damn you all. Even if there not good. I guess they are like the "fast food" of TV, you don't have to make much of a commitment (1/2 hour at tops) and it's not something you have to concentrate much on.
So let's hear about your darkest moments on TV.....and no, the 10 minute Adult Channel freeview at 10pm doesn't count.

For me it's "Deal or No Deal". That show is absolutely garbage, there is no real talent or thought involved. It's just randomly picking suitcases.
However, for some reason I watch it everytime I am flicking through the channels. And for some reason I can't switch off it. I'm addicted, and I don't know why.

Please, someone...help me.....
On a side point, "Deal or No Deal" also has the very worst interactive DVD game EVER!!

I don't even understand how that would be fun. If it isn't your real money to win, who cares if the bankers deal goes down by a bunch? Reset the game and start over! How boring.
I feel like that when I watch SNL. My friends just don't get it. They don't find it funny at all. I keep hoping it will get better, and while there is the occasional funny skit, the rest is pretty horrible.
There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there;
And forever I will be with the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.

I also like That 70s Show, while I find some of the jokes a little juvenile and sometimes wonder why i still watch it, the characters are funny and some of the lines are delivered with such wonderful timing and with the straightest expressions on their faces that it cracks me up. I love Hyde. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
